These terms and conditions govern your use of www.translatinghand.com. Please make sure that you read them carefully, as your use of this website and its services constitutes that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. This website is managed by Global E-commerce Solutions Korea Co. Ltd.
Throughout these terms and conditions the terms ‘we’ or ‘company’ refer to Translating Hand which operates the website www.translatinghand.com. The term ‘services’ refers to any of the translation services which are offered on this website, and the term ‘you’ or ‘customer’ refers to any parties which have instructed www.translatinghand.com to perform any translation services on their behalf.
All customers will need to register for an account before availing of www.translatinghand.com translation services. It does not cost anything to open an account and there are no subscription or membership fees for the services that we offer: everything is sold on an individual basis.
Customers will use their account to log into the website where they will be able to upload their documents for translating as well as requesting free quotes for work.
Pricing for the services at www.translatinghand.com varies depending on a number of factors including but not limited to: the length of the document, the subject matter and complexity of the document, whether it is a certified or professional translation required as well as the speed at which it is required.
Here at www.translatinghand.com we offer two main translation services which are:
- Certified Translations
- Professional Translations
Certified Translations are priced from 38.20 USD per page and Professional Translations are priced from 0.13 USD per word.
Pricing will also depend on the speed in which the translation is required, with faster delivery times incurring slightly higher costs.
Customers must make their payments for services in full ahead of the translation work beginning. Full instructions on how to make payments will be clearly displayed on invoices and all payments made on www.translatinghand.com are processed securely through a third-party payment platform. Once your payment has been completed you will see TLH_GESKR on your bank statement.
All translations provided by www.translatinghand.com will come prepared in a word document. As soon as a translation has been completed then it will be emailed to the customer using the address provided at the time of registration.
Delivery of the documents can take between 2-5 days for our standard delivery with options of 12 hours or 24 hours for more urgent requests. These urgent requests are charged at a higher rate.
In some cases, for longer documents, it may not be possible to deliver the items via email in which case a cloud sharing service will be used to safely transfer the completed documents to the customer.
In the unlikely event that your expected delivery has not arrived in time, then please get in touch with customer services and someone will investigate this for you as soon as possible.
All customers use this website at their own risk, and acknowledge that this website is provided on an “as is” basis.
When requesting the professional translation services all customers agree and acknowledge that the translations prepared as part of this service are provided only for general information and understanding purposes only.
Any translations that need to be used for any legal services or presented to a notary will likely need to be certified. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand the intended purpose of the translation, and therefore the kind of translation that will be required at the point of ordering. We will not be liable for any translations which are deemed not suitable for use.
All customers will be asked to provide a brief overview of the intended use of their completed translation at the point of ordering. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to deny the use of any translation services to any clients for any reason whatsoever and without prior warning.
6. REQUESTING A CANCELLATION OR REFUND
If a customer wants to cancel a request for a translation then this must be done before the translator has begun working on the document. Any requests for translation after this point will incur a fee and depending on the time that the translator has already spent on the work in most cases the customer will still be liable to pay the full amount for services.
If the finished product does not meet your expectations and the amendments are not sufficient through revisions alone, you may be eligible to request a refund if the finished product differs greatly from the original brief. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your translation if you would like to request a refund.
Please be aware that we will only ever provide refunds in very limited circumstances and only at our sole discretion.
Refund requests must be made within five working days of the customer receiving the finished product. Unfortunately, we will not be able to review any refund requests which are made after this time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law the company shall have no liability to the client for any loss of profit, loss of business or loss of revenue or any indirect or consequential loss which arises in connection with the translation order.
While the company shall always endeavour to provide an accurate and idiomatic translation of the original text the client must accept that a translation may read differently from original writing and accordingly the company shall not be liable for any impact this could have.
The client warrants that the required translation does not infringe with any copyright or other proprietary rights and does not contain anything that is obscene, blasphemous or libellous. It shall indemnify the company in respect of all actions claims and proceedings as well as any costs or damages which have been incurred by any breach of such warranty.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, so we advise that all our customers check back to this page regularly to ensure that they are familiar with the most up-to-date version of the terms and conditions.
